Is this Zuck’s new Facebook Phone Design??

The social network “Facebook” run by Facebook Inc., once started with an idea to let students peek into private lives of Harvard guys by Mark Zuckerberg and his roommates has gone viral over these years to have engulfed the social media market emerging out as a head honcho giant!!
Zuckerberg seems to play Dutch betting on multiple horses to stay ahead of the game plummeting his coffers alongside. According to rumors it is being hyped that the Social Media maven Facebook is developing a smart phone under the code name “Buffy” planned to launch by next year for which it has also hired experienced hardware engineers. We have already reported this news in our last post.
To add to the speculations and myths designer Michal Bonikowski recently posted a concept design of the unique gizmo on Yanko Designs as shown below. The concept flaunts of cool features like a sleek design painted with Facebook’s signature blue, with a 4.2 inch sparkling screen. The design also features a 5 MP front-facing camera with a 8 MP rear one. Bonikowski has also added a docking station for charging the phone.

It was also being discussed that Facebook was working on its phone in 2010 but the idea was dropped then due to various design complications. Currently it is being said that Facebook is collaborating with HTC to bring out the smart phone but mist on this topic would be clear only after the official announcements by Zuck himself. But if the reports are proved to be true then this would be considered the third attempt at the Smart Phone initiative by the firm.
May it be a rumor or truth, the giant is definitely having bigger plans than just mere social networking. This herculean step would definitely place the company at the center-stage mobile market dwindling its rising revenue and product offerings. Moreover it may also suffer stifling competitions from leading brands like Google, Apple & Samsung.
I still express obvious doubts to this step of Facebook, is it well calculated? Justified? Will customers buy a Facebook Phone?
