Heating Issues with the new iPad

A high resolution Retina Display, an improved A5X chip, more RAM (1GB), new image sensor and lenses as well as 4G LTE are the improvements brought by the New iPad. However, there are reports that the New iPad is suffering from overheating problems.
Under normal usage the New iPad would allegedly get so hot that it would display a message telling you that your tablet is overheating, followed by a system shut down. Whether it’s the Data or WiFi radio, the battery, display, CPU, memory or another component is yet unknown but independent reports all seem to indicate the problem. We’ll make sure to let you know of our experience and pay special attention to this issue in our upcoming full review. Until then, check out the things that we like (and the things that we don’t) about the new Apple tablet.
