The famous RAZR, XOOM & ROCKER have lost their home and fame of 80 long years and have finally ended up with Google as their Foster ones .
After months of toil and spending numerous sleepless nights, CEO Larry Page has something big to flaunt off, more of a Lego brick that would glorify the pyramid of the Google Empire pushing it ahead in the race for power and dominance.
“It’s a well known fact that people tend to overestimate the impact technology will have in the short term, but underestimate its significance in the longer term” were powerful lines that an elated Larry uttered after Google acquired Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion. This billion dollar gamble finally fixed the missing parts of the zig-saw puzzle – the whole game plan of ruling the Mobile market with a handful of innovations and ruthless hardware.
The whole discussion and process of merger started last August as Google took advantage of the feeble phase that Motorola was slowly sinking into after incurring a heavy loss of millions, acquiring around 17,000 patents, 6,800 pending ones and various intellectual property rights to its name. Google has also got the benefit of Motorola’s hardware renowned in the mobile market for its durability and performance to which it can amalgamate with its own Android OS to roll out next generation super smart phones – NEXUSes may be that can outsmart other existing brands available in the market.
Even after winning European & US regulatory approval in early February, the merger took so long because Chinese Govt. spiked Google’s road to glory at just the right time. The Govt. laid conditions that unless Google agrees on providing Android OS for free for atleast the next five years, this deadlock won’t shatter to clear the blocked paths. Although Google bought Android in 2005, it is developed by an organisation called Open Handset Alliance of which Google is a member. Though Google agreed to the Govt. terms to clear the paths, there are rumors that Google may modify its OS to suit future Moto devices which may become a major set-back for other brands that implement Android.
The whole process concluded two days back bringing smiles to some and tears to others as Motorola CEO Mr.Sanjay Jha had to make way for long time Googler Dennis Woodside & preparing for his own long time vacation.

With big plans in mind, we hope that Google would start producing revolutions like Google TV and Apple like devices and will in fact have an edge on Apple due to Google search services.This bid has definitely cleared Google’s long time plans to rule the Mobile market with Android powered Moto devices, but its real intentions will only be revealed when these AndroMoto pairs hit the main stream mobile market.
